I probably took 50 pregnancy tests before I finally got the positive result that Nikola would be joining our family. I knew that he would be a very special child, but I honestly had no idea how smitten I would be with him. I have this urgency to share all the cute and clever things he does. I am hoping this blog will be a good way for me to get this out of my system and give my poor co-workers' ears a break. I am planning on posting pictures/ stories from the past and the present. I would do the future too, but the time machine still has a few kinks that need to be worked out.

I don't think people who have not actually met Nikola and spent some time with him can truly appreciate him. I understand I am a family member and people may think I am biased, but the truth is I have years of experience as a Librarian specializing in entertaining children. Nikola really stands out from the pack. I hope all of your friends get to meet Nikola and hang out with him Brandi. You are a terriffic mother and he is a one of a kind child. I love you both very much.
